Active shooter drill at Main Street Middle School

"Gunmen" stormed the hallways at Main Street Middle School in Soledad on November 18th during an active shooter drill. Three teachers wearing ski masks played the part of the gunmen, shooting students and teachers around the school, that were all part of the training exercise. Minutes later, the Soledad Police Department and Monterey County Probation responded in force as Monterey County sheriff officers closed streets surrounding the school and a CHP helicopter hovered overhead.
